CNC Lathe Operator

We’re seeking machine shop candidate for a small, tight-knit machine shop looking to add a CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to their team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment where your contributions matter—and where a good attitude goes a long way—this could be the right fit for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes for a variety of part runs
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
• Troubleshoot issues related to tooling, materials, and machine settings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate and collaborate closely with team members to meet production goals

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience (minimum)
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude—we’re building a culture where everyone helps each other
