We’re looking for a customer service and dispatch rock star to join our client’s team in Newberg! Our client has been proudly providing reliable HVAC repair and installation services for over 40 years, serving customers throughout the Portland metro area and the greater Pacific Northwest.

Job Summary:  Manage customer phone calls and organize service calls. Executing high-level communication and organization skills, critical thinking ability, and a friendly personality are of the utmost importance and priority.

Job duties:

  • Receive and answer emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Proactively address problems and suggest solutions
  • Receive and dispatch orders
  • Assess situation and prioritize calls
  • Oversee the route of field units and track delivery status of products
  • Coordinate schedule in the most effective manner
  • Inform field units about orders and traffic
  • Track and update call logs and data in software programs
  • Provide reports to upper management
  • Support Project Coordination Department as needed, and any administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience as dispatcher or similar position preferred
  • Fast typing skills
  • Experience in data entry
  • Hands on experience working in stressful, emergency situations
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • High school diploma

Starting wage: $21 – $23 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
