We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Inspector to join our Inspections Team. This role is responsible for performing product inspections, validating quality standards, supporting the disposition of nonconforming materials, and maintaining accurate inspection records. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation and use precision measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform product inspections, including first-run inspections, new supplier material evaluations, rework validation, and high-risk item inspections.
  • Support and verify the disposition of nonconforming materials.
  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Select appropriate inspection methods and tools based on product specifications and quality requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain quality data using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, legal requirements, and ethical practices.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including stacking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized work area.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality concerns and support operational objectives.
  • Assist other departments with functional and operational tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a professional attitude while demonstrating strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or quality inspection experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Experience using inspection tools and measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to lift up to 150 pounds with team assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the workday.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a quality control or quality assurance environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Experience maintaining quality records and inspection documentation.

 

Starting wage: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
