We are seeking a Shipping Specialist for a premier table saw manufacturer in Tualatin!  Unmatched company culture and lifestyle balance is just a few reasons to work with them!

SUMMARY: Coordinates shipping of all products. Maintains accurate warehouse inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Move products and materials to appropriate warehouse locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
2. Enter movement of product into MRP system.
3. Run daily shipping report and ship product accordingly.
4. Pull, count, and repackage products to customer requirements.
5. Operate UPS Maxiship software.
6. Complete bills of lading and airbills.
7. Generate address and customer-required barcode labeling.
8. Generate and complete required material certifications.
9. Communicate with customer service to expedite shippable products to customers.
10. Cycle count warehouse stock locations weekly.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist with receiving and staging of materials as needed.
2. Assist with physical inventories.
3. Perform housekeeping as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
4. File shipping information.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience with warehousing in a plastics company preferred.
2. Knowledge of warehouse and shipping principles preferred.
3. Knowledge of both domestic and international FTL, LTL, and airfreight regulations and documentation preferred.
4. Ability to read, write, understand, and verbally communicate work instructions.
5. Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
6. Ability to drive forklift and maintain forklift certification.
7. Basic computer knowledge. Must be able to understand and use required sections of the MRP system and other computer programs, as needed.
8. Ability to interact effectively with a variety of departments.
9. Must be able to lift, reach, and pull up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 55 lbs. occasionally.
